New supporters of Neurodis

The Foundation achieves its first actions
Following the call for projects issued last April, the Neurodis Foundation has decided to support two scientific projects based in Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, by recruiting two young female postdoctoral researchers. You may see the presentation of their projects as well as their profiles on the Actions page of the website.
These first two recruitments are to be completed with the recruitment of a third postdoctoral researcher as well as the awardee of the Chair of Excellence in Functional Neuroimaging who should hopefully arrive in Lyon by spring 2009.
The initial aim of the Foundation to provide job opportunities in research for talented young scientists is progressively developing. This true need in the domain has been reflected by a large number of candidates from 13 different nationalities who applied for the three young researcher positions published by the Foundation this year. We are keeping this same perspective with a new call for projects that will be published in 2009 to recruit three additional young postdoctoral researchers.
Moreover, the Neurodis Foundation is indirectly supported by the Région Rhone-Alpes, which has bestowed doctoral scholarships through the research clusters it has created. In 2008, the Région Rhône-Alpes attributed a doctoral scholarship particularly focused in the direction of one of the research priorities of the Foundation.
