The Neurodis Foundation’s prime objective is to attract top-level French and international researchers into its network and to its priority topics. Three kinds of action work towards this objective
Setting up Chairs of Excellence
- Objective : To accommodate renowned senior French and international researchers for 5-year periods, providing them with the wherewithal to set up in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne area to run innovatory research projects and develop new training modules.
Accommodating new teams
- Objective : To form new teams working on the objectives laid out in Neurodis’s various axes of development, and enable young recognized research workers (whether titular or not) to set up their own teams.
Recruiting highly qualified staff
- Objective : To provide a maximum 3 years’ support to post-doctoral researchers or high-level engineers involved in transversal projects piloted by Neurodis network teams.
Neurodis is also active in transfer to industrial partners
- Objective: To provide contractual financial proof-of-concept support with industrial partners, enabling significant progress in diagnosis (imaging and molecular markers) and treatment.
Neurodis promotes international cooperation
- Objective: To boost the national and global impact of regional neuroscience by involvement in European-level networking, inviting international speakers and organizing international scientific events.
