Administrative Board
- Composition: 15 members, including 8 founder members (Lyon-1 University, Grenoble-1 University, the Lyon, Grenoble, Clermont-Ferrand and Saint-Etienne teaching hospitals, the CEA and Inserm), 2 representatives of the researchers, research-teachers and teaching-hospital practitioners working full or part-time within the Foundation, 2 local government representatives, 1 representative of the business community, and 2 other qualified members. Given the strong involvement of social and economic entities in the Foundation, a Committee of Partners is to be set up, to represent and assist the Foundation in carrying out its projects.
- Role: Validates the Foundation’s scientific strategy and the annual investment plan put forward by the Steering Committee; decides on finance allocation.
Scientific Council
- Composition: Top-level, internationally recognized figures in neuroscience.
- Nomination: by the Administrative Board.
- Role: Audits the Foundation’s research strategies and advises the Steering Committee and Administrative Board.
Steering Committee
- Composition: Chaired by the Foundation’s Director and composed of research and clinical representatives from the affiliated research units and hospital centers.
- Nomination: Candidates are put forward by the Foundation’s Director for approval by the Administrative Board.
- Role: Draws up the Foundation’s scientific strategy and action plan for approval by the Administrative Board.
