Neurodis’s scientific strategy is to develop innovative diagnostic and treatment projects with direct or indirect impact on the prevention or functional alleviation of neurological disability.
Physiopathology and biomarkers: the objective is to combine experimental, clinical and epidemiological approaches in identifying diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of disabling neurological diseases.
Neuronal networks and remediation:the objective is to design functional recovery strategies in neurological disability, based on electrophysiological and neuro-imaging studies of the neuronal substrate of sensory, motor and cognitive functions.
Embryonic stem cells, neurostimulation and nanotechnology: this axis focuses on technological developments in neurostimulation, recovery and repair strategies, embryonic stem-cell derived grafts and functionalized biomaterials.
